Here at Melaleauca Miniature Schnauzers we microchip all our puppies and we only use the kennel club own reunification service Petlog, As a registered implanter with Petlog and only using Microchips supplied by the UK’s biggest supplier Pet-Detect

Eye Testing
When looking for a puppy, any caring and responsible breeder will be able to show you Eye Test Certificates of the mother and confirm that the sire has a clear certificate (both should dated within the previous 12 months). You would also be given a copy of the Litter Screening Form to prove that the litter is clear of eye problems when you purchase the puppy.
Toilet Training
Puppies need to relieve themselves qfter play and sleep time. Please be patient with your new puppy and his/her toilet training, take the puppy out as soon he/she wakes up, and remember how young he/she is. Puppies learn very quickly, under no circumstances smack or scold your new puppy; he/she will become very frightened and will cower and become a nervous dog later in life, put fresh dry newspaper down and take puppy out regularly. He/she will become dry at about three to four months.
